Privacy Policy

Apply Quran ("we", "our", or "us") is an initiative of CPS International (Center for Peace and Spirituality) a non-profit organisation established in New Delhi, India. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices when using the Apply Quran mobile app.

1. Information We Collect

We collect limited information to operate and improve the app.

a) Anonymous in-app Feedback (User-Submitted Content) If you use the in-app feedback option, we collect:

• Feedback type (Bug Report or Feature Request)
• The description/message you submit

This feedback is stored in our Supabase database.

b) Push Notifications (if enabled) If you allow notifications, the app may collect and store a push notification token so we can send app notifications to your device.

c) Technical Information (Limited) We may process limited technical information necessary to operate app features (such as app version or delivery-related metadata) through our backend services. We do not use this information for advertising or profiling.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

• No account registration information (no name, email, password) in the current version
• No payment information
• No advertising identifiers for advertising purposes
• No precise location data
• No contacts, microphone, or camera data
• No screenshots or attachments in feedback submissions

3. How We Use Information

• Review bug reports and feature requests
• Improve app features and usability
• Send app notifications (if you enable notifications)
• Maintain app reliability and basic functionality

4. Third-Party Services

We use third-party service providers to operate the app:

• Supabase (backend/database, including feedback storage)
• Expo Notifications (push notification services and delivery infrastructure, if enabled)

These services process data only as needed to support app functionality. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these providers to understand how they handle data on our behalf.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We do not share your information with advertisers. We may share data with service providers only as needed to operate and maintain the app (for example, backend/database and notification delivery services).

6. Data Retention

• Feedback submissions are retained for as long as needed to review issues and improve the app.
• Push notification tokens may be retained while notifications are enabled and may be removed when no longer needed.
• We may delete or anonymize data when it is no longer necessary.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

8. Children

Apply Quran is a general audience app and is not directed specifically to children.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Effective date" above when changes are made.
